Just a couple of weekend updates of note: there's been a little bit of a weather change. Still warm, but now a chance of rain on both Sat and Sun. The crappie are in pretty shallow and their eggs are softening. They should be on the beds any time now.

--well not actually DWW but my truck takes 50 gallons to go up run around and get home that's $200 and another 30 gallons in my 90 horse for the trip that 's $120 well thats close to $450 iSn;t it plus additional expenses plus 2 gallons for the mower, 7 hours there and back well maybe I exagerrated a bit,,, hey i'm a fisherman its always bigger than it is RIGHT ! see ya on the water you gonna be up for the opener at TMR?

--Won't be up for the opener, in fact never fished the chip on opening weekend. Last year was the first year in the last 10 years I didn't make it up there at least once. Only been to TMR a few times when I would fish with lg3 since 2008, most of my fishing was on the lower east side of the flowage around Indian Trail. All my old fishing buds are starting families like myself and have little kids so its hard to find anyone who can get away for a few days and head up to the flowage. Probably 50/50 at best that I make it up there this year. However plan to do plenty of fishing down here in SE Wisconsin.

--One 21 inch walleye (not big enough to put on the TMR board, 2 large mouth and a 19 inch small mouth (the bass released of course). A nice day fishing in the rain.

--2 eyes only f-8 slow,,,crappies in squaw bay good size on the ones we ,,,caught.....8 inch bass everywhere and northerns bit the whole weekend too many to count,,water is higher than high....be back in few weeks,,,,,,,

--Hey Geno, would have looked you up at F8 but steering system took a crap in the Tracker and had to head back. We managed to boat 3 eyes. (21, 18, & 15) Nice fish. Wish we could have hit a few more spots. I am going to try to get back this weekend for round two. Crappies should be hitting better by this weekend I am thinking.

--I know what you mean Geno. I'm in my 60's and the new phones take some time to understand. Whoever my grand daughter can work the thing better than I can and she is 3. I will be up the 2nd week of June (5 more long weeks) and maybe I will see you up there. Good fishing.
