at least as of right now ice out wont take long ,,,,we dont have any in illinois,, and may is on the way,oh YAH,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,wont be long good fellars!

--Not much if any safe ice here in the SE part of Wisconsin either. Looks like my only ice fishing this season may be my trip up to LOTW next month. Anyone of the site know anything about the Cisco Chain in Vilas County? Fishing wise and possible accomadations on the Wisconsin side of the chain? What happened to LG3?

--haven't heard much from him since he bought a new subaru,,,you know the type that buy those vehicles ,,he's busy eating baluga caviar or however ya spell fish eggs with a salty brine

--Jenks Fishing Report - Thursday, January 12, 2012 Notes: Mid winter report:Still not very much snow yet. Only about 5-6 inches on the ground. Plenty of ice-most lakes have 10-12 inches. Sleds and atv's are going out without any problems but I wouldn't sugggest driving yet. Some crappie and bluegill action. More sporadic than anything else.

--Was it Wes on here that said the Packers would win the Super Bowl back in August. look who's eating crow now!!!
Posted by DWW at 9:02 AM

--Yah, it was Wes alright. But I'd rather be eating crow with Wes than be any where near some worthless Bear loving FIB like DWW (Dancing With Wussies)
Posted by RW at 5:24 PM

--fyi, I've lived in Wisconsin my entire life and am a Packer fan and can't stand the Bears. Wes' cockiness this fall about the packers was a little over the top. Winning back to back Super Bowls is very difficult and the odds are against it. It was obvious about halfway through the season that the Packers were not going to win the Super Bowl with that pathetic defense and in the end that is what let them down.

--wow, RW, such a pleasure to meet you. :-/ DWW and Geno, I'm still here, just havent been on the site all that often. Actually tryin to figure out what to do with it goin forward. Maybe just a general post - i.e. not limited to the flowage or even fishing?

--She(lrgraf.com) is your creation, do with her as you see fit. Anything to do with fishing/beer/sports/investing, would keep my interest.
Posted by DWW from Illinois at 9:45 PM

--hmm...i dont know about sports. hopefully ill be back on the water this spring but it wont be like it used to be. so investing? who's got money? naa. politics? oooo, that could be fun. beer? I'm now limited to one brand: Redbridge...which I LOVE...but doesn't make for great comparison/contrasts.
Posted by lg3 at 10:51 PM

--hmmmm what to do,,,my new radio sales job i negotiated for vacation so the cabin it is soon for the opener....i'll miss you fellers but do what ya gotta do it was fun while it lasted..............oh p.s big red is dead,,,,my wife rolled her 3 times last week in the snow,,wife miraculously walked away,,, so i need a new tow vehicle Subaru ??? does anyone own one????? i'm thinkin gas hog durango,,,but i was upgraded by insurance company and i'm driving a 2012 volvo s60 what a rocket of a car,,,i'm kinda gettin attached to it!!!! well see ya on the wet stuff at the opener
Posted by geno at 11:48 PM

--Politics - nah! I'd ratgher drink a warm Redbridge. Don't really think it's going to matter if Obama gets antother term or if Romney gets a chance. For a commoner such as myself, don't think there would be much of a difference in my everyday life. Maybe higher taxes with Obama.

--Jenks Fishing Report - Thursday, November 17, 2011: Notes: Just a quick update. Don't forget that Saturday starts the 9 day gun deer season. We've had a couple of dustings of snow--maybe a little more coming this weekend--nothing serious. No ice yet. There's been a little skim in the mornings but it's gone pretty quick. It's supposed to get cold and stay cold on Sunday. I think the earliest we can hope for is around Thanksgiving. I'll keep you posted.

--Jenks Fishing Report - Thursday, December 1, 2011 Notes: Not any fishing yet---not enough ice. It's supposed to get pretty cold so there should be some ice fishing starting in a few days. I'll keep you posted. Only about an inch of snow on the ground.Well, it's December. We've had Black Friday and Cyber Monday. So I guess we should have a December Christmas sale. Let's do St Croix Rods. Send me the model number you're interested in, I'll call St Croix to see if it's in stock, and then I'll get back to you with the price. I'll have St Croix drop ship it directly to you. I'll even pay for the shipping!!!!And remember: if you're out of state there won't be any sales tax.

--Jenks Fishing Report - Monday, December 19, 2011 Notes: Winter update: Colder nights have tightened up the ice. People are beginning to get out again. No fishing reports yet but it sounds like most of the lakes have 3-6 of ice. The big deep lakes aren't safe yet out in the middle but the smaller lakes are ok and it sounds like the Flowage is pretty good. Not a whole lot of snow yet--only a couple of inches on the ground. Have a Merry Christmas!
