will head out fishing this afternoon / early eve. may or may not make it to karaoke tonite. honestly, we're both "pretty beat" this morning.
as for the below conversation about "the kitchen"....assuming that its the line of boats that sometimes builds up from TMR's trailer park channel out to between the sands and lil banana....ive actually never fished that....however, I know someone who does...quite often.
if I understand correctly, his name is Larry and he lives right there on Fred's Point.
for years, any time of day, right outside of the channel, there he is in a teal and white fiberglass boat... in the exact spot as though he's keeping the TMR gate. I think he leaves a permanently placed anchor out there and just tethers his boat up to it each day.
as I prepare for my own take-off, I hook around, as close as I can to the grass to not disturb Larry, we both extend an arm and wave - and thats that. The silent "Larry." "Larry." conversation has been the single most reliable fishing experience I've found.
I've never actually met Larry even though he's a neighbor. And I have to say, in some weird way, I kinda like it that way. NO OFFENSE, Larry....and of course if we do meet, it'll be a pleasure, I'm sure....but....there's something cool about the "simplest friendship".
anyway, something tells me at least one guy is still catchin fish in the kitchen!
