apparently there was a golf cart vs. trailer incident yesterday here at TMR. for now, I'll just leave it at that. SO TEMPTING THO.
lg3 at 4:35 PM - July 28, 2008
ah, Thought something like that. Well be careful what you say, we all will be driven one soon. So just change the subject back to puff the magic dragon that's still hilarious...
g8ts at 5:29 PM - July 28, 2008
YOU ARE SO BAD!!! Get back to the fishing/catching reports, please!
Ellie at 5:36 PM - July 28, 2008
Oh Ellie, don't worry - I wont name names. Besides, its ok to laugh. Reports indicate that there were no injuries to the driver...and no damage to his squirt gun.
lg3 at 5:46 PM - July 28, 2008
There is a guy on lake-link asking where Twin Island is. Apparently info on lrgraf.com spreads fast, lol. The funny thing is that there is not a single word mentioned about Twin Island on the Chippewa Flowage thread at all.
DancesWithWalleyes at 6:05 PM - July 28, 2008
I sent him a private message directing him to your site and told him that Twin is down by the infamous TMR Lodge, home of world class kareoke !!!!!
DancesWithWalleyes at 6:14 PM - July 28, 2008
I'm either seeing things or I swear I just saw a response to my last post, by lg3. Now its gone !!!!
DancesWithWalleyes at 6:16 PM - July 28, 2008
damn, you caught me! i did ask if you told him that it was in F9....then changed my mind and removed it. sorry, my mind is still on the golf cart story.
lg3 at 6:18 PM - July 28, 2008
good, for a second I thought my after dinner Leinenkugel was playing tricks with my head.
DancesWithWalleyes at 6:22 PM - July 28, 2008
Hey dances with walleyes, i guess i wasn't thinking. I told the guy where twin island is. But it looks like lrg has it fished out anyway. Hey lrg, i've got a question for you. Can you figure out the fishing forcast for a week in advance? A month in advance? Just curious Thanks in advance for your sober reply. As always

I havent fished it out, to be sure. As long as you've got a good wind, you can count on it as much as F8 (last year). As for the forecast, I'm confident in it, but not that much! If you can give me the exact weather conditions across the country for a given day, I can run it thru!
lg3 at 6:29 PM - July 28, 2008
and since you mentioned sober...i should mention....Turns out I probably wont be out fishin tonite. Going away party for "David from Prussia" at the TMR lodge.
lg3 at 6:30 PM - July 28, 2008
Lrg, i know you havn't fished it out, I'm just jealous! Haha Say, isn't f8 called the kitchen any more? It used to be a consistent producer of walleyes. As always

not sure if its the same as the kitchen. heard the term but thought that was further north of the F8
bog/island that i talk about anyway - pretty much smack dab in the middle of F8.
lg3 at 7:04 PM - July 28, 2008
Your right Lar it is further north about straight out from the trailer park.

I saw the "Twin Island" post on Lakelink this morning, and thought it was funny. How about we start naming other things on the flowage that seemingly are not "named" on the map. We can name the rockbar on the northeast side of Horseshoe Island "Luke's Bar" because I hit it with my boat one year (hardest thing I ever hit with my boat too).
Luke at 11:30 PM - July 28, 2008
"Puff" was written in 1963 so doesn't fit the theme for next tuesday. Got no idea how I got there, good that you were entertained. "Brand New Key" was written in the 70's that'd be a good karoke song.
Cold Front at 11:55 PM - July 28, 2008
"The Kitchen" is everything Mille can see looking out her kitchen window from the original house. 10-12 years ago more than 25 boats were there on opening day; all limitimg out.
Fred at 7:39 AM - July 29, 2008
Fred I can remember that quite well 10-12 years ago and lg3 when u see Larry out there just pull up and anchor right next to him. lol.
Hose at 11:29 AM - July 29, 2008
Hose, as far as I can remember the proper Kitchen technique when Harve was still around was to pull up to the selected boat, put your anchor right in that boat, and politely ask if it would be ok to fish in their livewell.
JeffM at 12:22 PM - July 29, 2008
Yes Jeff it seems to me that was the proper technique, in fact I remember that we witnessed that once upon a time. But you have to wear a cowboy to do that.
